weight: 175 lbs / 79.38 kg
hair: blond
eyes: blue
age: 34
unusual features: heart of the dragon branded onto his chestPORTRAYAL INFORMATION
i portray danny as bisexual, using he/they pronouns and as autisticINFLUENCE
primary influence comes from earth-616, with small amounts of influence from the N/MCU. this portrayal ignores the ending of Iron Fist: Heart of The Dragon but acknowledges Lin Lie as Danny’s successor. This portrayal has Danny keep his powers after the events of IF:HoTD, whilst still mentoring both Pei and Lin Lie.PERSONALITY
danny is usually a confident, outgoing, and humorous person. however, he can also oftentimes act aloof. in k’un-lun, he was trained to abandon humanity to become a living weapon. due to this, he can oftentimes come off as cold, calculated, and introverted. the balance between being danny rand and being a living weapon is one he struggles with constantly.danny is also a man of faith. he worships dragons, and treats martial arts and combat as a sacred act. otherwise, his religion could be best compared to taoism and buddhism.despite typically coming off as stupid or goofy, danny is incredibly smart. he is fluent in mandarin, cantonese, tibetan, japanese, vietnamese, and k’un-lunaa. he is also a master tactician, strategist and leader, and highly educated in philosophy, as well as being the world’s foremost expert on chi and spiritual energy. in fact, he oftentimes intentionally comes off as stupid to make people underestimate him.however, he is best known for his mastery of martial arts. danny has mastered every form of combat, with enough skill to rival shang-chi (though danny insists that shang-chi is superior to him in martial arts). danny loves sharing his martial knowledge with anyone who is willing to learn, and is passionate about teaching. he takes the title of shifu very seriously, and will treat his younger students as if they were his own children.danny is also a philanthropist, determined to use his billions of dollars to better the world, and eventually have given it all to everyone else. he also founded both the orson’s rage foundation and the rand foundation nonprofit organizations. he and his best friend luke cage also hire ex-cons to work for them at heroes for hire. danny is a major advocate for civil rights and prison abolition.
